About Liz Copeland
Liz Copeland, creator of the Food & Joy Coaching Process, coaches women who have failed to keep the weight off – showing them how to feel good about themselves so they can lose weight, eat with joy, and slim down to the size they want to be.
Liz loves food, likes eating and passionately believes that weight loss or healthy eating should not be about deprivation. At some stage in our lives our bodies knew how to be healthy and our cells knew what nutrients they needed. But our emotional needs make us choose foods that are unsuitable this makes us feel bad and the guilt makes us eat even more! Then the negative self-talk kicks in and we are using food to feed our emotions.
The Food & Joy Coaching Process looks at all aspects of eating and is ideal for those who have lost weight only to put it all back on or for people who are happy with their weight but have cravings, episodes of binge eating or overeating. Using this coaching process, the needs of our physical body and the needs of our emotional brain are realigned for our greatest good then we can truly eat with joy!
Trained in biochemistry, with a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, Liz lectures at Masters level on obesity and related topics. She has three teenagers, one of whom has never knowingly consumed a vitamin, so she knows about the challenges of family eating.
Although professionally trained in nutrition, it was Liz’s own emotional journey to healthy eating that enabled her to blend her knowledge and experience to create a coaching process that can free you from fear around food and set you on the road to being the size you were meant to be.
