In Amie’s own words….

This year I am having a particularly difficult time writing my PMC fundraising letter. It is with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes that I flash back over this past year. When Greg and I completed the PMC last summer, neither of us expected to hear the devastating news. In October 2008, my remission was officially over; my cancer had returned. Our family was – once again in for a very long and emotional fight against cancer.

The end of this course of treatment is finally on the horizon, but our battle against this aggressive cancer will continue for the rest of my life. Recent scans revealed that I will never again be in remission; rather, I will be a person
