About Elizabeth Walker
There is something amazing about the fact that we walk on medicines and food practically every day without thinking about them, and if we do think of them, we call many of them weeds!
Even most of our modern medicines were originally derived from plants!
This has always fascinated me. Yet I didn’t know that the oldest herbal college in North America was virtually walking distance from where I grew up.
Finally, with my children almost grown, I decided to listen to the call of herbal medicine… and I discovered that herbal college. About time, right?! I completed the four years of training at Dominion Herbal College (established in 1926), and became one of the very few Clinical Herbal Therapists (CHT) and Registered Herbalists (RH) in Alberta, Canada.
While attending college, I started to suffer from allergies. My doctor prescribed medications/puffers, but it didn’t solve the problem. So I turned to the herbal medicine I was just starting to study formally of course it worked! I no longer use medications no drugs at all. I don’t take herbs for the allergies anymore either.
Having benefited from herbal medicine, and seen others benefit too (including pets) I’m determined to help you discover that you really do have effective options beyond what you may have been told. With knowledgeable and appropriate guidance, herbal medicine is safe, natural, and it works!
