Time Traveler Tips
Since I will be traveling during the holidays and expect to be sitting in airports, not to mentionon the long flights, I am gathering things to work on during that time. My teens will be plugged into something (music, games)sohere are some ideas that you maybe able tousein your travels.
- Catch up onmagazines that you have been too busy to read. I love SUCCESS magazine, with it’s inspiring and valuable content, but I get behindbecause it is nota fast read. It’s a great magazinefor long waits.
- Download some audio books onto your ipod ( I am currently listening to The Big Leap).
- Map out your Marketing Plan for the new year. Where are you networking, andis itworking for you? Are there new places you can explore thatyour target market hangs out? Are there strategic partnerships that you want tobegin building – create a plan. Have you utilized social media, if not where can you learn how to do that so you can incorporate it into your Marketing for the new year?
- If you write articles for your own newsletter, online or for other publications, brainstorm your ideas for the coming year.
- What is your PR plan for the new year? Who and where can you pitch your ideas? Jot down your ideas how to tie your expertise in with current events.
- I just learned how to use Windows Movie Maker, so I am going to sketch outa storyboard for a movie to upload to my website and youtube.
The easy part is that you can doall of theseideaswithout a laptop and get a jumpstart on the New Year.
And when you want to take a break, “people watch” – what better place than an airport to do that!
Happy Holidays!!!
