Got Goals? Have a Plan and See Them Through!
Got goals?
This is the right time to make a date with yourself and review your goals for the upcoming year.
Did you know that on average, out of 100 people, approximately 67% will say that they have goals?
That sounds pretty good, right?
Out of those 67%, approximately 10% have those goals written down as a plan.
Uh-oh, we’ve lost quite a few people here. But for those 10%, we are heading in the right direction. That’s good!
Guess what percentage actually achieves their stated goals?

Only 2-3%!
That’s sobering, isn’t it? The bottom line is that in order to achieve your financial and personal goals, you must have a written plan clearly spelled out with your benchmarks, deadlines, and outsourcing list.
I coach my clients to do a weekly review, typically on a weekend (Saturday mornings or Sunday evenings are popular choices). All you need to do is grab a pen and paper, and review last week’s accomplishments (celebrate your wins). After you’ve done your happy dance, decide what you want to accomplish in the week ahead. Then get busy and create your weekly plan.
The key to making this work for you is to put dates/times directly into your calendar. This way you ensure that these items get done! Another success tip? Make sure you allow enough time for projects — don’t overbook yourself!
