For years, consumers have been hounded by print, radio, TV, direct mail and e-mail ads of businesses begging them to come to their business. Now, small- and medium-sized businesses can set up networks where people who WANT to hear from them will hear from them and pass their message along to their social media friends.
This, by no means, replaces a full-fledged marketing campaign. This is added to the bag of marketing tools to lure customers to their business. The best part about it? It costs a business owner their time! If you’d rather afford an hour on the weekends and 10 minutes a day during the week than affording over-priced, ineffective traditional advertising, then social media is the best way to market your business.
