How to Create a DIVA Brand on Social Media?

What is a DIVA brand? Why is it so important? What can you do to build it, develop it and then live it? Think of all the major celebrity brands in the world. What comes into your mind when you see Oprah? Beyonce? J Lo?

Each one of these DIVAs have taken great care of their image, how they have developed their brand personalities and then live it every day. They project it in their communication, appearance and conversations.

What do you think when you see Nike, Coco Cola, Head and Shoulder Shampoo, Apple, BMW? It makes your brain associate with an emotion and a feeling. BMW means luxury and you associate it with success and status. When you see H&S shampoo you immediately think of dandruff. This is called USP (Unique Selling Point).

Every successful brand and personality has it and have spent years creating and leveraging the brand image throughout their marketing efforts.

Brand building is so crucial to your success yet people miss out this important ingredient to success. Sooner or later everyone will be jumping on this wave so you might as well be ahead of the crowd and create a personal brand presence on Social Media today.

As an entrepreneur, author, speaker and social media diva, I am sharing with you my years of observation and insights about brand building and how you can position yourself and be ahead of millions of women. But first I want you to understand something.

A brand is a journey

In a world that is so saturated with corporate brands leave alone your personal brand; the only way you will stand apart is by defining your clear sense of purpose. Though they are millions of brands but very few have an inspiring identity. Very few possess a unique selling proposition.

Again think of Oprah. Her brand is a journey. She has evolved into it over the years. It did not happen overnight and I am sure she is still evolving her global brand and presence.

If you think you will achieve success overnight it will not happen and you will only be disappointed. It also depends. If you have a short vision then you need not put in so much efforts. If you have a long term vision then you need to understand that your brand will be a journey and what will drive you will be your clarity of purpose and vision.

So let’s see how you can create a powerful personal Diva brand that will help your social media position.

Put Your Mind into Action and link emotions. The way you do that is through the following exercise.

  • Write down your vision statement. After you write your personal vision statement now look at it and feel the feelings. Are you emotionally in synergy with your vision or is it someone else’s vision? Your vision statement must be very close to your own heart. It has to move you emotionally and mentally to take actions. Ask yourself if it is not stirring you inside how will it stir others?
  • Now write a mission statement. This is based on your vision. For example if your vision statement is seeing people all over the world living in financial abundance, your mission statement can be
