Networking Tips from an Expert Networker

Do you find you have tons of Business Cards and never can remember where you met each person? If you write on the card where and when you met the person and what actions need to be taken after you leave the event, you will never forget where you met and how to proceed with the follow up. Remember to have 2 places for business cards. Yours should be in one pocket and the ones you receive in another so you never give away an important card by accident. I keep my cards in my hand and put mine on one side of the pile and the ones I recieve on the bottom. If you start with 20 of your cards and get to the cards you are collecting, you can keep track of just how many people you have given your card to.
