Think Pink: Uniting Women Against Breast Cancer

Although I didn’t know anyone with breast
cancer, I became immersed in the cause last year. It started when I received an
invitation for a 10-mile training walk, unaware that the training was for a
breast cancer walk. After starting out, an outgoing young woman asked me about
my motivation for walking. I honestly didn’t have any, and I wasn’t even
thinking about participating in the breast cancer walk. As we talked, I found
out that this woman is a breast cancer survivor
