INSIDE-OUT: Living a Life of Total Well-Being
It seems of late, there has been an explosion of thought leaders taking the world by storm with the concept of the Law of Attraction. While this concept is a valid principal to consider, there is a plethora of areas where this universal law can positively propel our best life. The basis of this principal stems from the core belief that what we think about, expands and manifest in our experience. Because this universal law does not know the difference between good or bad, you have the power to control which of these you will manifest in your experience by weighting your thoughts on the good or bad. So, essentially your experience is up to you, and this is an example of living from the inside-out. What you think [inside] comes into your experience [out].
While the principal of universal law can bring beneficial results to anyone who chooses to tap into its power, it is common to hear about the material manifestations such as money, cars, houses, love, and the like. What about those other areas, mentioned earlier? Well, how about our bodies for starters our overall health. Why are we not putting the universal laws into action concerning our health? You will not find an answer here; instead you will learn how to use the Law of Attraction to bring your body into complete alignment with the essence of well-being. It is more than just visualizing about a smaller pant size or waistline. It is even more than just eating smaller meals. Here is where living from the inside-out on the physical plane comes into full-view with action steps that will have you experiencing your vision of health and well-being.
Let’s begin with eating well. Choosing to incorporate organic foods in your diet will automatically eliminate the intake of pesticides and carcinogenic chemicals in your daily intake. Although the demand for organic foods has not been as great as non-organic, they are gaining in popularity. Believe me when I say, What we eat shows! It manifests in the form of extra pounds that refuse to go away, premature aging, acne, discolored skin, bloating, constipation, heart-disease, diabetes, edema, hair-loss, and any other ailment you can possibly imagine. The rule of thumb is to eliminate as much whitefoods as possible from the diet. These are generally processed and don’t have the nutritional value our bodies require. Eat foods that have color! Greens, Reds, Yellows, Purple, Orange, and Browns, preferably organic but if not, you are still on the right track. Your body will begin to feel more energized, skin will begin to glow, cholesterol will normalize, and your bowels will get more exercise than it has in a long time!
Eating well is only the beginning to experiencing health and well-being. How do you rid your body of toxic waste that has been building up over the years? Answer: Detoxification.
With the increase of toxins within the environment and foods we eat, the majority of people are at a level of toxicity that is past the point that the bodies own natural detoxification system can cope with. Chemicals and toxins can build up in your system and cause problems regardless of your body weight. But when body fat begins to accumulate, that usually means toxins are accumulating too.
When the body retains fats, it is a way to protect the vital organs in the body from the toxins that we ingest or create through stress. One sign of toxic build-up is the bloating or tightness around the upper abdomen. Body fat that accumulates in this area is a visible sign of toxicity and a good indicator that the liver is not functioning efficiently.
Detoxification helps to purify the blood stream and help the body cleanse and restore itself. Of course, there is always the added benefit of weight-loss even though that is not the primary motive.
What are some methods for detoxification? Here are three methods that will aid the body’s operating systems in eliminating toxins:
Dry Brushing
The first step to a successful detox program is dry brushing. It helps get the body’s natural elimination and drainage up and running more efficiently.
Mineral Baths/Soaks/Scrubs
Sea minerals have long been recognized as beneficial in toxic elimination. Sea lettuce helps improve the skin’s elasticity and protects the skin with its recognized soothing antioxidant and inflammatory properties. Sea kelp is known to help stimulate the skins surface with vitamins.
Massage
The therapeutic benefits of massage are all-inclusive to health. It relieves stress, improve circulation, strengthens the immune system, promotes deeper and easier breathing, improves circulation of blood and movement of lymph fluids, reduces blood pressure, and the list goes on and on.
Bringing balance to your life includes your positive attitude, eating well, and detoxifying your body for optimum health and well-being.
