Want to Lose Stomach Fat, Then Don’t Do These Abdominal Exercises

We’ve all seen those TV commercials with a so called expert’ telling you that in order to lose stomach fat you must do endless abdominal exercises or buy the latest gimmick in order to achieve a flat belly.

In fact, even some fitness magazines suggest the best way to tone your belly is to perform hours of crunches! Unfortunately some fitness magazines still live in the dark ages when it comes to losing stomach fat. As for the latest gimmicks they are generally a waste of time and certainly a waste of your hard earned cash. After all who wants to be wasting money, especially in these times?

I want to tell you the truth. In order to obtain a nice flat stomach; crunches alone are definitely a no.

You must first remove the layer of stomach fat that is obstructing your abs from showing. The way to achieve this is by taking a long hard look at your workouts and most importantly your diet because it doesn’t matter how fantastic your workouts may be, if you are eating processed food on a daily basis you haven’t got a chance of ever achieving a flat stomach.

The best way to workout is not by doing endless hours of long boring cardio but by interval training and whole body resistance circuits which are cardio based. By losing stomach fat and body fat you will discover your toned abs.

I’m definitely not saying avoid abdominal exercises all together because you do need to include them in your workout plan, as once the stomach fat is reduced you will have nicely toned abs.

You don’t need to spend more than 5-8 minutes 3 x each week working on abdominal exercises.

Please remember, when you perform any kind of exercise you should always tighten your abs which stabilises your body, so you’re giving your abs a great workout with every move you make.

Take a look at your diet and cut out all processed foods, that means anything that comes in a packet or a box and has ingredients on it that the average person couldn’t possibly pronounce. Instead opt for whole grains, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, lean meats, fish, and legumes.

Cut out alcohol, sodas and keep your coffee intake to a minimum. Instead drink water, green tea, white tea and chamomile tea. Whenever possible do try to buy organic.

Follow my advice and say goodbye to stomach fat and hello to a lean flat belly.

Best wishes
