Core Awareness Will Take Your Workout to Another Level

One important thing to remember in whatever workout you do no matter what your fitness level, what the intensity is or how fast it is…ask yourself…what is my core doing? If you are aware of your core everything else will fall into place.

For instance think of a squat as you go down and up you have the ability to contract your abs. If you are punching to the front or sides, same thing. If you are jogging or sprinting, same thing. Being able to stretch your back before beginning any workout is of the utmost importance, why? Hello, it’s your trunk…you can’t move your limbs without loosening up that trunk.

So, take a couple seconds to straighten up, stuck that butt out, or if your stretching like a cat, curl yourself in…either way; core awareness will take our workout to another level.
