Pink Tools!! How Cool is that?

There are now quality made tools for woman. They come in blue and now pink colors. Tomboy Tools is a company that was founded in 2000 by two woman, Jane Rickstrew and Mary Tatum in Denver, CO. They decided to sell the tools via the “Home Party Plan” so that the woman could also be taught some basics about tools and also some other skills such as caulking, tiling and painting…along with having a fun night out with the ladies.
They are a now growing company and will be in Oprah magazine with their pink, “Hammer out Breast cancer” hammer and in Self magazine feature the pink drill …both in October issues.
Tomboy tools also supports the Susan G. Komen breast cancer fund with many of their pink items, donating between 10-20% of the profit!

8v Impact Drill – This weighs only 1 pound 11oz. It has a lithium ion battery that charges faster and last longer. There is a light on it that goes on when you are drilling. Works great and looks great!!

The Super Stepper (also comes in pink with pink tool collection) – This is an entire tool collection all organized into a step stool (storage box) that can hold up to 305 pounds. It has in it the following:

To feature just a couple of these items individually, you have the tape measure. I love their tape measure:
It comes in either the 16″ (blue or pink) or the 25′ (blue only).
The neatest things about this tape measure is it has all the fractions written on there for us!! Most of us don’t use tape measures all the time and we have to sit and figure out what the fraction is. Not any more!! Its wonderful. Plus the fact that it is in a nice rubber casing that has the ability to stand alone and upright (which makes it easier if you are trying to measure something by yourself.). There is also a clip on it so you can clip it to your belt or tool belt. The other thing I noticed is that it glides so easy and smooth in and out. Very nice quality.

The utility knife is an all-purpose knife which has a heavy duty retractable blade and rubber grip for safety. The best feature on this (that my husband even thought was impressive) was a thumb screw (you can unscrew it with your fingers…no tools) instead of a phillips head screw to open it up to change the blade.

There are many kits in the line, including the Traveler (pink or blue)…makes for a great “his” and “hers” wedding or showing gift!

The Car kit – this features pink jumper cables! There is a pink one and a black one, so you know that “pink is for positive”. It also gives you an instruction sheet to be able to jump a car step by step. There is a digital tire gauge, LED aluminum flashlight, extendable screwdriver, rubber-grip gloves all housed in a custom made canvas bag.
