Auto Insurance Has Changed in Massachusetts!

In this economy so many of us are looking to cut costs, and stretch our dollar. Many have thought of looking into savings on insurance, although more have put this on the back burner, thinking it was too involved.

Well I’m telling you, that it is so easy, to bid out your current policies making sure you are getting the most for your money! Simply provide a copy of your current policy declaration or coverage selection page(s), to the agent who is willing to quote your policy and they should be able to give you a comparitive quote, make suggestions on increasing(or decreasing)coverage, as well asmaximizing your discounts.

Remember, any reputable agent, will make recommendations for increased coverage, but don’t let this shy you away from obtaining a quote. Ultimately, the decision is yours to make. So if you don’t want to buy more coverage you don’t have to, but you need to be aware of the risk that you are taking by insuring at minimal amounts.

Anyone out there cringing at the thought of their teenager getting their driver’s license? I am! Not only as a mom of an almost 16 year old, Junior in High School as of 9/09, but also as an insurance agent! So, I’m being pro-active, I’m searching out programs where he can become educated, not only to learn how to drive safely, but also to provide a discount when he successfully finishes the program. And, I have found not only a fun program, but it is cost effective and different than the same old drivers education that everyone is taking.

This program is called In Control and some insurance carriers not only allow an extra discount when you have participated in the program, they will even pay over 50% of the program for you, saving you over $150.00! You may contact me for more information on this program at 781-484-6966, or by email at andrea@tarpeyinsurance.com. You may also contact Greg of In Control directly at 413-374-3194.

Good Luck and DriveSafely!
