Hammer Out Breast Cancer with Tomboy Tools!

Tomboy Tools is a company that was founded in 2000 by Janet Rickstrew and Mary Tatum. They began selling their tools for woman via Tool Parties in 2002. They have been doing great and have now begun to raise money to battle against breast cancer.

We want to help woman to realize that they can do things they didn’t think they could do on their own. We teach them at the home tool parties classes such as: Tool basics 101, Mosaic tiling, Caulking and Painting. The fun part of learning and purchasing your own tools is that they can look fun too!! (And you don’t have to worry about your husband or son taking them!) They have the blue they started with but now they have added pink tools to their line.

They began with the pink hammer to “Hammer out Breast Cancer” campaign. It has gone very well and they have added many new pink tools. They raised over $139,000 last year and this year are donating 10% of the retail price of the Pink Traveler, Pink Impact Drill, and Pink Garden Bucket, as well as, 20% from the sale of each “Hammer Out Breast Cancer” pink hammer.
