When
Mary McManus contracted paralytic polio at the age of 5, her physical
therapist read Dr. Seuss to her. Almost 50 years later, Mary
rediscovered the gift of poetry after being diagnosed with post polio
syndrome and it once again became a powerful source of healing in her
life.
