Indulge Your Passion!

We have heard many people say we should live our passion.

Yet, many of us either don’t know our true passion or just can’t seem to fit in the time to really indulge in those things. I say, despite limited time, think about what you truly enjoy, then find a little time here and there to indulge it.  I love to write about life and my perspective of it. Doing so has allowed me to discover more about myself and therefore, I experience “Me” for a change.

I love my husband, daughter, family and friends, but I love them even more when I take time to also love me! I have had many ideas for start-up businesses which I thought (and still think) were great ideas. However, one day when my sister and I were talking, it just clicked…! If I am going to spend my spare time doing something, it should be what I truly enjoy!   When I began to think about my true passion which is writing, I made the decision to dedicate a certain amount of time to that passion. Despite my full-time job, I wanted to ensure I was taking care of that special part of me that allows me to be inspired, happy, and able to provide my family with the best part of me. I joined a poetry group, which led me to another writing group, which led me to publishing, which led me to indulge in other related things around my passion.

As a result, my business was started! I love what I do and strive to promote positive surroundings for other people as well as provide positive materials for others to benefit. I have several goal planning, project and event planning, and other practical use journals for everyday living. All to promote the improvement of self as well as those around you. The goal planning journal was a direct result of my initial plans and goals to dedicate a certain amount of time to achieving my personal goals. One of which was to allow a certain amount of time towards indulging my writing passion.

Everything I have created has been a result of things I have found to be useful in my own life.
