The Art of Healing – Unplug

Our bodies are exquisite creations. When I am living my life’s purpose and mind, body and spirit are in alignment there’s beautiful harmony and synergy. When I am practicing positivity and gratitude, taking me time and having balanced days, my body responds with a vibrant feeling. When I choose my thoughts and my actions with intention, I am able to smile and breathe deeply. But when I am out of alignment, I experience a feeling of exhaustion to the core which overtakes me. Post polio syndrome is an incredible blessing in my life – it waves the red flag of fatigue signaling me to examine where I am, what have I done to get me here, and what do I need to do to correct my course. Unplug
Untweet, unlink, untext, unplug all gadgets large and small
Turning eyes and ears to nature, soaring seagulls squealing call.

The froth and foam the sounds of surf expansive sea and sky
Unlimited unbridled unloosen binds that tie.

Free the soul and free the heart, life’s rhythms ebb and flow
Waves of intuition will guide which ways to go.

Let not the pull of this and that upset my state of mind
Nurture now with nature, the path to peace I find.
