Eyes of Love

The Eyes of Love. So many song titles one thinks of when you hear
that phrase! But I’m referring to a process I went through recently at a
NLP (Neuro Linguistics Programming) session. In this experience, we
were told to close our eyes and relax. We were then gently advised to
think of ourselves sitting at our desk journalling about our lives. We
could be hand writing our journal; sitting at our p.c. typing our
journal; or perhaps, curled in a big comfy chair with our laptop and a
cup of tea as we wrote our life’s story. The room has only one door and
that door is closed….a closed glass door. Looking in through the glass
at us journaling is a person in our lives who loves and accepts us
totally unconditionally. We were told to think of that person and
imagine him/her standing there lovingly watching us. In that person’s
eyes, we are extraordinary people who are so worthy of being loved,
cherished and adored.

We were then, with our eyes closed, told to
imagine our spirit rising out of our body while the physical
manifestation of our body stayed at our desk or in our chair, writing
our life story. Our spirit then joined the person outside the glass door
who loves us so unconditionally. Our spirit is able to see everything
that person sees about us. How wonderful and acceptable I am. How loving
and caring and devoted I am to my children, my parents, my fiance, my
friends, my clients, to the needy. My spirit was actually able to see
me, through the Eyes of Love, from someone who accepts me absolutely
unconditionally.

We were told to rest in that…to feel all the
emotion of it and to enjoy the wonder of being so devotedly
accepted….and then to accept ourselves through those Eyes of Love.

Now
our spirit is to go back into the room, ever aware of the Eyes of Love
watching through that glass door. And we should write our life story as
we see it now….as we feel it now….as it has been shown to us through
the Eyes of Love because now our perception is that the Eyes I’m seeing
through are my own. I can see myself with Eyes of Love.

When I
opened my eyes and wept….I was weeping for joy because it was my
precious mother who was outside my glass door. Standing beside her was
my fiance….who loves me devotedly and tolerates me unabashedly. I also
wept because I hope that there are people in my life who know that I
love them that unconditionally. I made a pact that day; to help others
who I care about to see themselves through my Eyes of Love. Would you do
the same? Can you do the same? I’m happy to talk to you if you have any
questions. As I continue on my path of Network Marketing to find
freedom, financial and otherwise, I invite you to join me on this
journey to success. We are best able to relate to others and share
honestly when we feel accepted and love….especially when we experience
self-acceptance!!! Hugs to you and know that you are seen through the
Eyes of Love.
