Journaling for Life

Journaling can be a passport into the heart, mind and soul. It fills the heart by allowing the outward expression of what is felt inside. We often have feelings and thoughts coming and going on a daily basis. Despite thesevarious feelings, our heart hasinner constants which can sometimes be overwhelmed by life.Expression through journalingcan allow us to capture the heart of what is true to those constants.

Journalingfills the mind by creating structure of those heart constants and various feelings.Structure can help uscapture these things inthe purest form. Wecan then learn to appreciate our innermost constants and feelings fromits origin. The changes we go through from day to day inour thoughtsare more readilyrealized through the ability to connect the information in our minds as we express them through written form. We are also able to reflect on ourselves from previous journaling.

Journaling penetrates the soul as it manifests itself in expressed form from the heart into the mind.We are able to appreciate the true self through the ability to look back and see who we are and who we were. It provides usa journey into our own soul. We are openingthe door toself discovery. This spawns a greater realization ofour beingwhich is in itself a gift of life.

When I first started journaling, it allowed me to release feelings and ultimately look back on them. The journaling turned intothoughts of my inner being. This in turn allowed me to see my own growth. Before long, I was expressing life in various forms technically, poetically, and spiritually.Isaw a newnessof self. Ibegan to understandme a little better.Years later, Iam able to continue to build on those new revelations from within.
